OUR  SOLUTIONS

Better insights.

Faster and more accurate operational decision-making through tailored dashboard applications

The Data Science Platform

RwHealth’s Data Science Platform (DSP) was developed with one focused thought in mind – to ensure real-time insights, retrospective reporting and predictions can be made easily accessible to an entire organisation.

Nestled between data systems and the DSP interface is an advanced collection of libraries that have been carefully curated for healthcare data by healthcare experts. Our team of data scientists have constructed dynamic machine learning-powered models to answer some of the most pressing challenges within healthcare and hospital settings today.

Mental Health Open Data Platform

Using open data submitted by NHS Trusts, RwHealth has created the Mental Health Open Data Platform (MH-ODP).

The MH-ODP pulls data from multiple public sources and presents insights on the national mental health landscape in a simple and digestible format. Users can compare performance across sector trends and with peers in demand/capacity alignment, Long Term Plan progress as well as Productivity & Fidelity. Interested in MH-ODP insights?

The Mental Health Flow Tool

RwHealth have developed the Mental Health Flow Tool (MH-FT) to provide powerful, often never-before-seen insights into service user journeys.

Our proprietary flow logic combines your disparate datasets and applies a semantic layer that delivers a robust, data-driven tool for a combined view of your mental health trust.

Our best-in-class MH-FT offers a set of standard views that provide a walk-through of patient pathways, split by geography, diagnosis, or any other service user characteristic.

Examine in detail crisis presentations to admission, and follow service users all the way through their recovery journey to discharge.

The Clinical Outcomes Review System

In partnership with NHS Trusts, we have developed the Clinical Outcome Review System (CORS) platform, in anticipation of the new national mortality mandate.

Purposefully designed to be an all-encompassing clinical outcomes review platform, CORS integrates recommendations from the Learning from Death initiative, Medical Examiner and SJR mandates — all within one streamlined and easy to use platform.

RwHealth’s system includes not only a free, built-in mortality app, created in line with new mortality standards, but also the ability to commission one’s own app. Access to free apps created by other Trusts promotes the next phase in healthcare quality improvements through shared learning and best practice in managing the mortality review challenge.

Recovery

Our Recovery tool leverages advanced predictive Machine Learning and Data Science as a critical tool for healthcare providers and systems. Already, it has been vital in supporting those at the very frontlines of healthcare and the pandemic.

The platform models targeted scenarios, including mapping new pathways and ways of working; workforce shortages; profiling the waiting list; modelling patient complexity, admission criteria and risk stratification; and establishing solutions for the demand-capacity gap.

This ensures providers and systems are fully prepared for upcoming challenges, armed with critical predictive insights to understand how these can be met face on, including predicting the Summer demand and Autumn/Winter surges with stand-up and stand down models.

Life Sciences

Our Real World Insight Platform delivers a powerful tool that unifies data from a multitude of sources across the disease spectrum. The platform builds a true understanding of what is happening to patients in the real world, and the interplay with treatment pathways.

Programmes are driven by RwHealth’s ongoing commitment to accelerating the research and discovery space, combined alongside clinical and life science partner research questions. The platform identifies previously undiagnosed patients, risk stratifies those exhibiting inadequate responses to treatment, and elucidates natural histories, among other critical capabilities.

This strengthens ongoing research and therapeutic development through, increasing the speed at which novel innovations can reach and benefit patients. Therapeutic safety and efficacy insights are generated as a crucial component in regulatory approvals and market entry.

Ultimately, patient quality of life benefits from better supported clinical decision making, and a wider landscape of treatment options for the best outcomes at a patient profile level.

Identify potential impact of Covid and resource requirements to help our clients fight the pandemic

The Solution

  • Built a Covid platform to model the pandemic evolution at multiple hospital levels (e.g. region, acute, ICU, specialty), allowing for international comparison
  • Further developed the algorithm to allow the client the ability to see the impact national holidays would have on their capacity
  • Established the road map for Covid and Post-Covid response (e.g. backlog/waiting list management)

Impact

3
  • Established gap between existing capacity and fast growing demand
  • The client was able to plan ahead accordingly to ensure ample care capacity (e.g. stocking supplies, reallocating staff, requisitioning hotel bedrooms etc.)
