London Based, Predictive Healthcare Data Analytics company Draper & Dash (D&D) today announced that it has appointed Joseph Frost to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the company, an expansion of Frost’s existing role as Director of Solutions.

As Draper & Dash’s CTO, Frost will drive strategic, cross-company initiatives to maximise D&D’s impact with customers globally. Frost joins D&D’s senior leadership team, reporting directly to D&D’s Chief Executive Officer, Orlando Agrippa.

“We believe in developing and recognising great talent within the business first before looking outside and are thrilled that Joe will bring to D&D his unique expertise developing advanced data solutions, platforms and services that empower people and organisations,” Agrippa says. “Joe’s first area of focus is to advance our data science platform and predictive capabilities.”

“The ability to palpably improve outcomes for patients through improved access to advanced healthcare data solutions for technical, clinical, operational and leadership teams really get me fired up,” Frost says. “I am very optimistic about where D&D is headed and how we can continue to use technology to solve some of society’s most important challenges.”

About Joseph Frost

Frost is a 14-year healthcare and data specialist, with sector specialism covering all aspects of healthcare data, software and infrastructure. Frost holds an MSc in Computer Science and has to date delivered incredible data driven solutions in both the provider and commissioner landscapes within the UK, Middle East and China. Just this year, Frost contributed significantly to the fight against COVID-19 by delivering the algorithms which predicted care home risks to patients prior to the pandemic, across one of the country’s largest care home groups.

Before joining Draper & Dash, Frost first began his career within the NHS in 2007, his final responsibility being at the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) provider system as Head of Data and Intelligence. Prior to his role at NCA, Frost delivered a number of large-scale patient centric programmes, including the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF), looking at disease prevalence and care quality achievement rates, alongside work with SLAM, a form of contract and income management software which facilitates monitoring and sharing of activity and income information for NHS providers and commissioners. As his experience demonstrates, Frost’s understanding of the healthcare technology landscape is simply incredible, and we look forward to the future advancements he is able to bring to both D&D and the sector as a whole.
